The Flume is a favorite New Hampshire State Park attraction featuring a two mile loop of boardwalk and stairs exposing you to the quintessential White Mountain Forest experience: waterfalls, trees, water, & 100+ year old covered bridge. Discovered in 1808 by 93 year old Jess Guernsey, who stumbled on it while she was, in classic NH spirit, “out fish’n.” Gift shop, cafeteria, and and a 20 minute movie showcasing local parks are all available.
